Fractional UX support for a pre-seed health-tech startup
On a part-time basis I worked directly with the founding team to help shape the core product experience. The focus was on designing for two very different user groups, both clinicians and patients. Each with distinct needs, mental models, and levels of health literacy.
A significant part of the challenge was translating highly complex clinical and genetic data into something immediately understandable and actionable. For patients, it meant greater clarity - a picture of their own health that was easy to understand. For clinicians, it was about the holistic view: surfacing information from many different sources in one place, cutting down the manual effort of sifting through hours of paperwork.
The work spanned early concept development, mobile design, data visualisation, and prototyping. This helped the team move from idea to something tangible and testable.
